12/7 This morning while we were waiting for Dr. Bankson (Jenny's Dr, to get some warts removed), I told Ilea that
Dr Bankson was the first person in the world to see Ilea. She said, "Oh, I'll have
to give this person a big hug!". Just then the door opened, and Ilea ran
over and hugged her legs. Dr. Bankson was surprised! While she was freezing
my warts, Ilea asked to look. So she came over and stood on the step of the
table. Ilea said to Jenny, "I'll give you a big hug and kiss your fingers to make
them better." She did. Then, I had brought 3 flowers (1 cyclamen, 1
African violet, and 1 viola). We froze them in the CO2 and dropped them on
the counter. It was great! I haven't frozen anything in years! Dr.
Bankson had fun too. Then she threw the rest of the CO2 on the floor and Ilea jumped
in a chair so the mist wouldn't get her.
12/10 Ilea, sitting in her booster chair, in a small high voice, "Kyler, I'm over here, you crazy boy!"
12/12 Ilea had a piece of dried coconut from her lunch. She took one piece that was folded and said, "This is my book. I will read you a story. Once upon a time, there was a little girl. She got up in the morning. She played with her brother. Then she had lunch. " (the story actually went on for some time, not very easy to follow)
12/13 At playgroup today, Nori, Ilea's friend, was getting a bandaid. We hadn't been paying attention. So we followed "Dr Nori" over to "Patient Ilea", who was getting the last of *8* bandaids! She had her sock off, and her pants pulled up over her knees, and bandaids on both hands, and all over one leg. It was very funny!
At lunch, Ilea got a star cookie. She held it up and said, "Do you see the star in the sky? It's way up there! It's so pretty!" Then she sang Twinkle Twinkle to it.
