We went and saw Troy last night. I was a pretty descent movie, good story and all. The special effects were sufficiently good to not be very obvious while watching the movie. I would give it a 7.

Ilea and I were washing the cars today. I asked here if we should name our cars and she said "Sure!". We were washing the black Lexus and so she decided to call it "Sleepy" because it was black and we sleep when it is black out. She then thought for some time and determined that the blue Odyssey should be called "Sparkle" because it sparkles after we wash it. Jenny wasn't really excited about "Sleepy", so Ilea thought a bit more and came up with "Special Runner" which sounds a little more exciting, kind of like a race horse.
Last week we went to Kindergarten roundup. This involved meeting the teachers, touring the school and taking a school bus ride. On the school bus ride, the bus driver, Mr Dallas, talked to the kids and told them what was expected of them. Then we went for the ride and when we returned, Mr. Dallas gave some parting words and at the end asked if anyone had any questions. Kyler stood up and said "I do". Mr. Dallas asked what his question was, and noticing that he was being talked to, Kyler, kind-of lowered his head and thought for a second. Then he stands up and says "I wove you!" and then sits down. I guess that is as good as anything to say when you forget what you were going to say.

5/21 Jenny calls Kyler Baby a lot. She calls Ilea that too. For a long time, Kyler would say, "Why do you call me that? I'm big". Jenny would answer, "Because I love you". Sometimes Kyler also wants to be called names like Dump Truck Man or Superhero. A few days ago he announced to me, "Mom, I like it now when you call me Baby, because you love me". Today he was playing with naming a doll, and calling it Clifford. I asked him if he wanted me to call him Clifford too. He said, "No, just Baby".

We had a great day today (Mother's Day). First, we went out to breakfast to IHOP. We haven't been out to breakfast for years (we just don't tend to do that). It was really nice and we made it to IHOP just in time because a huge line started just after we were seated. We gave Jenny her presents before we had breakfast. The kids (with my help) each made a collage with past pictures. Then I wrote anything they wanted to say to mom. We also made a Kiss Ticket book from which Jenny and redeem tickes for a kiss from each child. The books were made by having me put lipstick on each of the kids lips and having them kiss about 10 small pages. I gave Jenny a silver picture frame for a baby picture of Kyler. We will then get all of Kyler's birth stats engraved on one side of the frame. I also created my first home-made card for her. She was quite impressed for a home-made card from me.
Then we took off to do some more letterboxing in the south end (Puyallup and Tacoma). Our sucess rate was pretty poor. We found 2 of 8 with one of those two missing the stamp. We stopped for lunch a little after noon and it was pouring rain at a very nice park in Tacoma. It finally stopped raining and the rest of the day turned out to be very nice (high puffy clouds and lots of sun).
We headed home and got some Safeway chinese food which we all love. This was easier to do than make dinner after letterboxing all day. Then Aunt Barbara and Uncle Ken showed up around 6:30 for their 4 day visit.
Jenny gave the day a B+.
