12/30 Yesterday, Kyler got a new book, late Christmas gift, that had a picture that said "Laugh like a Kookaburra". Kipp started singing the Kookaburra song (http://members.austarmetro.com.au/~jennt/Kooka/sng.html). Then we couldn't figure out how a Kookaburra laughs so we looked it up on the internet (http://teachit.acreekps.vic.edu.au/animals/kooka.au). This morning when Kipp got Ilea up, she asked "If there is an old gum tree outside and there is a Kookaburra there, what should we do?"

12/16 Kipp has taught Kyler the word for penis. Ok. So I'm changing him one morning, and he grabs it and says "Penis". I acknowledge him and try to change the subject, and finish putting on the diaper. As I fold up the diaper, Kyler waves and says, "bye bye penis!"

12/9 Ilea figured out a new trick. She told Kyler to say Yes. He did. Then she asked him, "So is it a deal Kyler? You said yes!" Luckily today's deal was just over placemats, but Kyler may be in for a raw deal in the next few months....

12/5 Kyler got my watering can I use for the house plants. I usually don't empty it out because I add plant food and don't want to waste it. This time it was almost full. I heard a funny noise from across the room and Kyler was pouring it onto the floor into the heater vent in the kitchen. When I shouted NO, STOP! he just poured faster and got most of it in.

11/15 During the minute that I was putting a video on for Ilea in our bedroom, Kyler got into the medicine drawer in our bathroom. I alreday knew he could open the baby locks on the drawer, but wasn't too worried because I am always right there with him. But he beat me this time, and got into Pepto Bismal and perscription stool softener. Kipp said it was OK cause they cancel each other out. I don't think he ate many.
