This is old stuff that Jenny accumulated, but forgot to post. Sorry if it's all old news!

4/2 Ilea was running around and around from the kitchen, through the dining room and back around to the kitchen again. Finally she paused for a minute. Kipp told her to "Keep it up", so she lifted her leg up off the floor!

Ilea also knows a number of celebrities. She recognizes Rosie O'Donnell, Elmo, Big Bird, Barney (her very favorite), Dragon Tales, Clifford, and President Bush. Without fail. I guess we watched a little more of the election coverage than we thought. She correctly identified him during the inauguration, which was over a month ago. Last night Pres Bush's address to congress was one. Kipp asked her who that was, and she said President Bush. It's amazing!

4/20 We were talking at dinner and Ilea suddenly said, "Two hundred dollars makes a very happy mama!" We have no idea where that came from!

5/1 Ilea hit her head in the kitchen while I was feeding Kyler on the couch. She was crying so I called her over to kiss it. I asked her where it hurt and she pointed to the kitchen and said, "Over there".

6/7 Ilea is in swimming again. She is doing well, kicking and "reach and pull" with her arms. She even blows some bubbles. She continues to talk and is becoming more and more understandable.

She recites books that she knows. Today at lunch she started telling "The Little Engine That Could". She quoted 3 or 4 pages by heart.

She loves rocks. Her friend drew a face on one, and now she calls them her Rock Buddies. She always finds them on walks.

Ilea also loves Kyler. She still loves to hold his hand, and cuddle with him. She talks to him a lot, and tries to get him to smile at her.

Kyler rolled over today for the first time, from his tummy to his back. We were able to get it on film, which was great. He is already growing out of clothes. When you are in the 95% for height, newborn sizes go fast. Most of his 3-6 mos clothing fits. He also coos a lot, and smiles all the time. He also sleeps pretty well. He's been sleeping through the night since about 10 weeks. He does wake up sometime between 5:30 - 7 am and wants to come into bed with mom. He goes right back to sleep until feeding at 7 am.

As for Kipp and Jenny, we have changed churches, which was very hard to do. We loved our old church, but it was too far away. We now go to a great new church that is 10 min away. Jenny has joined the bell choir, and will hopefully be directing it next year.

We have also been working on our yard a lot. It's been difficult because of the weather. It seems to rain every weekend. Hopefully we'll get something done by the time summer is over!
