4/23 at dinner, Ilea: Mom, what's going down? (Kipp and I are laughing hysterically) Finally Ilea says, "No Mom, the sun!"

4/15 1st lie from Ilea- She said she had finished her lunch. I asked her if she ate the baby carrot. Said she yes. So I came over, and it was sitting on her plate.

4/5 Jenny was giving Ilea words & she was telling me the 1st letter.

Owl - starts w/o, pooh- starts w/ winnie the!

4/6 in car, waiting for dad, Ilea to Kyler: "Kyler, don't touch anything in this car! Are you listening? Don't touch anything!"

4/8 - Jenny has been doing yoga, on the floor - 1st, Kyler sits right on my ear, tight against my shoulder. Then he lays over my neck to read a book. A few min later he walked up to the top of my head, & stopped w/his feet right behind my ears, looking down at me (my head was flat on the floor). He laughed, & reached down to grab my nose!

Kyler has swallowed: crayons (3 one time, and yellow another), chalk, barette, broken piece of plastic, fireplace gravel, magnet, stickers, paper, 2 inches of the spine of a book, grass, any food on the floor, rocks

4/3 -Kyler and Ilea were playing on the floor, and Ilea shouted: "Kyler rolled over i! Hey! You messed up my face!"

3/26 - Kyler walked! He took 6 steps by himself, and 4 and 5 steps a couple of times. He's finally getting the hang of it.

In the morning Kyler feeds me cereal. He gets a kick out of holding it up to my mouth and having me take it. When I feed him yogurt or oatmeal, if I don't pay attention, he reaches his head out to bite spoon. He uses a straw & spoon himself.

3/25 - we had just gotten back from the store. I asked Ilea if she wanted to help me bring in groceries. She said no. So I undid her car seat and left her door open for her to get out. Kyler was asleep, so I was going to bring the food in before getting him. When I got back from the first load, Ilea was in the middle of the car. I asked her what was taking her so long to get out of the car. She told me she was kissing Kyler's head. It was so sweet!

3/24 - After church we went by Home Depot. While we were in line, Ilea was still in the aisle, and made a big "Roar", and then started laughing her head off. SHe wouldn't stop, and kept laughing every time. When we were checking out, she roared at the checkout girl. She roared back, and Ilea almost fell down she was laughing so hard.

3/23 today while Jen was fixing Ilea's hair in the bathroom, she said, ''This is the face that Victoria. has. She has a big smile like this (ilea had a big goofy smile). It looks good on Victoria."

3/20 - Jenny was sitting on the carpet playing w/Kyler (Ilea was asleep). He came up to me & gave me a full body hug. It was great

3/10 - Kyler gave mom kisses-big, open mouth on my face

3/18 J was reading "conversation hearts" to Ilea. There was one we couldn't read. She said it was "funkter!" It took me forever to figure out she was making up a word!

Kyler took 2 steps today. He can say: Mama, dada, cat, dog, bye bye & waves, sign: all done, please, more, up, fish, & he knows where his nose is, can close a door or cabinet, turn around to go downstairs.

3/15 Ilea got a tent from Aunt Kori. She loves it. She's been taking naps in there most of the week.

3/14 - (Prayers) God bless Jessica who fell down and hurt her knee (this happened last June)

3/4 Jenny took Ilea's shirt off because it was wet. Ilea said, 'Oh no! my self is cold!"

2/23/02 Jen was trying to do dishes and Kyler was being fussy. Jenny said, to Kyler: Kyler, if you're not poopie, we have nothing to talk about. Ilea chimes in with: Lets talk about OJ.

2/22/02 At motel, Ilea: "Are we in CA?" Kipp: "Nope, we're in OR." Ilea: "CA must be around here somewhere!"

2/15 Jenny told Ilea we were taking Victoria to a park, and she said: We'll put Victoria in the car? In our white car? And drive her? That is a fun ride!

Ilea, talking about church: ..And the big, giant, bad king threw away all the babies, so she (Miriam) hid the baby (Moses) in a river. & the basket could float!

2/4 Ilea to Kyler: Kyler, I'm glad to meet you! (At least 15 times)

2/8 Ilea said she had an imanignary friend today. Her name is Link. She's a girl, and from Calif. She has a mommy and daddy, but they are gone.
