Today was wild. Both children had their own emergency. Ilea started the day off by spilling boiling water on herself. She has been getting her own hot water by using the microwave for a long time. Today she somehow slipped, and spilled it down herself. She got pretty badly burned on her stomach, left wrist, and right foot. I took her wet shirt off and she had already lost skin on a spot about 2 inches by 1 inch. It was very red for about 7 inches by 4 inches. I tried to cool it down with a cold towel but it wasn't helping. So I took her to the dr. We got some ointment for it and it's doing better. Looks pretty raw tonight, and she has one more blister that hasn't popped yet, but it doesn't hurt anymore.
Kyler had a very hard time being quiet at the dr. He can hardly stand it when he's not the center of attention! Both the dr and I had to tell him not to interrupt so we could talk about Ilea's burn and what to do. So he had to end the day with a bang and lost his 4th tooth. He looks great!
Also, it was my dad's birthday! Happy Birthday Dad!
