This afternoon Kyler and I were coming back from a park. Here's the conversation:
K: I thought we were going to go pet that dog?
Mom: What dog?
K: The dalmation in the yard!
M: It's a statue.
K: No, it's just a dog sitting still
M: No, it's only a statue of a dog.
K (in kind of a sing-song voice): OK, Mom, if you say so!
