And they're off!

First day of school here in Washington. Ilea had an upset stomach yesterday, but I hope it was just nerves. She said not, but then again, she woke up at 3am this morning and couldn't go back to sleep. She finished the book she was reading last night. Kyler said he felt a little bad this morning also, but I think he just wants the medicine Ilea got to take. Ilea needed new tennis shoes really badly, and I saw an old pair of my shoes. She tried them on and they fit. Maybe a little loose in the toes, but she thought they were almost too small! We need to get that girl some shoes.

Kyler is going to be in Mrs. Behrens' class. Mrs. Behrens was Ilea's second grade teacher also, and we really like her. This year it is a second-third split. We haven't done a split yet, so we'll see how it goes. Kyler was very upset to find that none of his friends are in his class! Koji, Lucas, Jason, Hudson, Travis - all of them are in the other class. He knows a number of the girls though. I'm sure he'll make friends fast.

Ilea is in Ms. Lee's class. She seems nice. We met her the other day. Ilea knows almost all the people in her class. One of her good friends, Celina, is in there too, so that will be good.

I'm ready to hear all about it when they get home tonight! We're having thier favorite meal - Pasta with Peanut Butter Sauce. Boy, they sure grow fast!
