Today was fantastic. Kyler and Ilea went to Vacation Bible School, and then Ramona Houser watched the kids in the afternoon, while Kipp and I went to Wild Waves! It's an amusement park with water slides! It was my birthday present. We met Bill near there, and they had a 2 for 1 pass, parking pass, Ramona made us a picnic lunch with lots of brownies, and watched our kids! It was really fun. We've never gone on the "adult" rides there, only the carousel and kiddie rides. This was a blast. We went on River Ride first, which was chilly but fun, then dark tunnel slides. They were great! Then a super fast one where you shoot off and get some air, another fast twisty slide, and 2 roller coasters. It was almost one by then, so we went to the car to have lunch. After that we went on the log ride, Conga River for a long time (it's an endless loop with no restrictions), and the wave pool. We finished the day by stopping by Barnes and Nobles for a Frappacino. It was a great, relaxing day! What fun for me. Ramona claims to have had fun too. She brought Thomas the Tank Engine tracks and trains and played all afternoon with the kids.
