Kyler had some cereal this morning, and wanted a different kind. Hunny B's which he calls Pooh Pots. There were some crumbs from the bottom of the bag, and they got on his spoon. Poon Dirty! Poon Dirty! So I had to clean the crumbs off before he would eat. This from a child who eats leftovers from the floor.

Then I got Ilea to taste some jello jigglers that I was sending to school for their Valentine's party. I let her have some, and she laughed and said it made her teeth squeek. I showed her how the plate of hearts jiggled, and asked her if she felt it jiggle when she ate some. She said, Yes, it was jiggling inside her. Then she started to dance and said it was wiggling inside her and it was making her wiggle!

For lunch, we had some jigglers, and soup. Kyler asked for more soup and more heart, and I noticed he had eaten the smaller of the 2 jello hearts. I was pleased he tried them. Just as I was about to pour the soup into his bowl, I noticed it was a murky brownish-purple color. He picked up the next heart and was about to add it to the mix too! Gross!

In the fall, I disciplined Ilea with a spank - she knew what would happen, she chose to disobey, and only got one swat, not out of anger. That night she prayed, "dear God, please help mommy not to spank me!" Obviously missing the point of both what to pray for and what discipline is for!
